In June 2025, the G7 Leaders will convene under an AKRoN roof, a true honor that underscores the trust placed in our expertise. This installation represents the highest standard of roofing excellence, ensuring that this globally significant venue is not only stunning but also built to endure the elements of the Canadian Rockies.

Premium Materials & Impeccable Installation

The CeDUR synthetic shake roofing selected for this project offers a stunning aesthetic that mirrors the charm of traditional hand-split cedar shakes, seamlessly blending with the lodge’s alpine surroundings. This product delivers the rustic appeal of natural wood while incorporating modern innovations in durability and fire resistance. While CeDUR achieves an impressive visual impact, the installation required expert precision to ensure longevity and performance at the highest standards.

To minimize disruption to guests, the entire 100,000-square-foot cedar roof was removed and disposed of as quickly as possible. As workers tore off the existing roofing material, our roofers simultaneously installed underlayment and preparation materials to protect the exposed structure. This method allowed us to maintain efficiency and minimize exposure to the elements.

To ensure the highest level of performance, the Pomeroy Mountain Lodge roof features Sahara premium breathable underlayment, allowing for superior moisture management and longevity. Our installation process adhered to the strictest quality standards, utilizing Stinger Caps to securely fasten the underlayment, ensuring it remains in place under the harshest weather conditions.
