GAF Introduces Timberline HDZ Shingles With No-Limit Wind Warranty
December 16, 2021
GAF, North America’s largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer and a part of Standard Industries, recently announced its Timberline HDZ shingles developed using the new and innovative LayerLock™ technology.
According to the company, these shingles combine the benefits of top-selling shingles and LayerLock technology that mechanically fuses the common bond in Timberline HDZ.
The shingles are used with GAF’s DuraGrip sealant to create a dual-phase shingle-to-shingle seal and asphalt-to-asphalt monolithic bond. In addition to this, the shingles provide a nailing area up to 600% larger than the nailing area of Timberline HD shingles. This increases nailing accuracy to 99.9% and improves the installation period by 30%.
LayerLock Technology
LayerLock technology is GAF’s patented method of fusing the common bond to offer a new StrikeZone nailing area. According to the company, it took two years to combine all the benefits of one of its top-selling shingles with its LayerLock technology. As compared to their HD shingles, the StrikeZone nailing area is 2-inches wide which makes it 600% larger. bodybuilding, icon, emblem, vector t3 bodybuilding dosage andriol testocaps bodybuilding dosage – thuc andriol testocaps 40mg This technology features a dual-phase, shingle-to-shingle seal with GAF’s Dura Grip sealant.
